27 horses and three ponies traveled from Parkside to the Early Summer Classic horse show, where we received a warm welcome from Team NW at Hunter Creek Equestrian Park in Wilsonville, Oregon.
Our three trainers, six amateur riders and 14 junior riders competed in a total of 343 hunter, jumper, equitation and medal classes, winning 72 of these as well as 16 Championships and 12 Reserve Championships.
Annika and Charlie placed third in the National Hunter Derby, while Allison and Moonrise Kingdom placed eighth. Olivia was leading Junior rider in the International Hunter Derby, placing sixth out of 17 entries with Caravaggio 12.
Our congratulations to Annika who received the Dibbins Fox Cup Sportsmanship Award.
