Nearly 50 years of experience

Parkside Stables was established in 1970 by Vicki Bergevin. Vicki and family built Parkside from a small family and friend hobby barn into the most successful show barn in the Pacific Northwest. Our head trainers, Morgan and Nora Thomas, have more than thirty years of riding experience each. Our diverse training team, collectively, brings a cross section of unique critical skills and capabilities to support our riders and horses.

Success is measured in many ways: competition record, rider safety record, animal welfare, community (clients and employees), client service and outstanding partnerships. Parkside’s longevity and reputation are a testament to why riders and their families continually seek out our training program and facilities to begin or continue their love of horses and competitive riding.

A haven of green, just outside the city
